Vocational Courses
Skills and knowledge are the driving forces for economic growth and social development in any country. Different avenues of development have their own unique demands of expertise. Realizing the importance and necessity for developing a variety of skills in students and generating work-ready manpower to cater to the ever-growing demand of current job market. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has also given special emphasis on vocational education through integration and mainstreaming of vocational education with general education.
Keeping this in view, Ranchi University introduced several self-financed vocational courses. Theses courses are offered at various levels, including undergraduate,postgraduate,diploma and certificate. Ranchi University and its constituent colleges run the following full time vocational courses. Some of these courses are attached to University Departments while others run as independent units.
